✨ Did you know? The caesar salad was invented 101 years ago on July 4th, 1924 by an Italian immigrant in Tijuana, Mexico? ✨

What better way to celebrate the icon’s birthday by having the Caesar salad fries at Lauter! One of my favorite lunches to get on the east side. They pair battered fries with a smoked olive Caesar dressing and some parmesan. It pairs amazingly with all of Southern Grist’s delicious beers (currently loving the Triple Red Hill and Fragment of Merit).

The rule my dad made me when moving out was that we would always have Sunday Dinners. Growing up, food and family go hand in hand. Always cooked in large batches that can be frozen and enjoyed throughout the week. Now a days, it typically involves wagyu burgers, my mom making sourdough bread, and drinking Italian wine. This is why I am the way that I am - I am my parent’s child.
